Twyla is a woman of her word. She made promises and stuck to them even when that meant, a lot of extra work. She called my attorney weekly to get him to do his job. My wife was very hard to work with (we’d been separated for 12 years) and the divorce took a long time. Twyla was patient and also found apartment listings and an apartment locator to help me relocate. I had a lot of stress with this divorce and successfully fighting cancer, Texas Republic took over some of those stress and I am grateful.

I was embarrassed that I hadn’t tidied up. I have a lot of stuff. They made me feel comfortable when she chuckled and said “yeah my house has a lot of stuff too. I bring stuff in and it seems the only thing that leaves is the wrappers it came in!” I was treated like I had a house of gold. They were fair and honest.

Twyla proposed we revive the daycare to make money and there was some space upstairs with a separate entrance. Twyla suggested we rent out the space to hairdressers. There were also hookups for a mobile home in the large yard. Twyla suggested we rent that space out to someone from the congregation to look over the facility. Twyla went above and beyond to help us move to our next big adventure.
Our family was stressed to the limit financially, emotionally, you name it! I’m so happy we contacted Texas Republic Homes. We have our life back in order and our freedom to live life to the fullest.
My mother has gotten older, she’s still mobile but has to go to the Dr. several times a week. Her house is built on a hill. This means she has to walk down a lot of stairs a couple of times a week down a steep hill. We want her to move to San Antonio so she can be closer to me. She doesn’t want to leave b/c all her doctors are here and she has financial assistance with a bus system that picks her up right at her door to take her to the doctor. Twyla researched homes near me in San Antonio, how far those houses are from the hospital, and if there were free bus services that she could sign up for. Mom still isn’t ready to sell her house and move away from her friends but when she gets to that point, we will call Twyla. Even after we told Twyla that we were going to sell, Twyla called us when she came across some free handicap hand railings from a demo.
